Looking at the front wheel with its through axle hub, my sense of
symmetry and the certainty of correct rotor to caliper alignment urges
me to convert the rear end to a 12x142 through axle setup.
The Hope hub is easily and cheaply converted - only the end caps have to be changed.
The alternator plates and Maxle though are fairly expensive.
Sigh...decisions, decisions.
